Summary

Chronic migraine is a debilitating condition which affects approximately 8.7 million women and 2.6 million men in the United States. Acute and preventative treatments for chronic migraine are sub-optimal and are still being investigated. In this study, we will investigate the effects of a Sphenopalatine Ganglion Blockade treatment for chronic migraine, which is a minimally invasive treatment that is administered in the nasal cavity. We will measure the changes of connectivity and resting brain activity before and after the treatment, as well as, monitor behavioral outcome using questionnaire throughout the treatment period.
