Summary

The purpose of this research study is to learn about the possible causes of stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) in individuals that have a narrowed brain artery using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and ultrasound.

We will also try to find out if the brain's ability to adjust the amount of blood supply to the part of the brain supplied by a narrowed brain artery plays a role in the reappearance of stroke.
