The goal of this research study is to test a new online program for weight loss. All educational materials are provided online and accessed via smartphone, tablet or computer. In addition, during the 12-week study subjects will upload their weight (synced from wireless scale), number of steps taken and minutes of exercise completed (synced from activity tracker), and food and beverages consumed (entered into the program directly or via other fitness apps). The scale, fitness tracker and app will be provided to subjects for the duration of the study and returned at the end of the study. Participants will attend two in-person sessions before and after the study to collect several measurements (e.g., body weight).
