Summary

This study is being performed to evaluate for abnormal motion of tendons around the ankle in healthy patients by performing ultrasounds with the ankle in various positions. Each ultrasound exam should take 10-15 minutes and the total visit will be less than 60 minutes. While some positions may be mildly uncomfortable, no part of the study should be painful to the patient. There are no specific risks to the ultrasound examination. There is a chance that the study team may find something unusual during the exam. If that occurs, the study team will present the findings to the patient and provide recommendations for follow up.
